This policy explains what information ovrEngineered, LLC (“ovrEngineered,” “we,” or “us”) collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It covers this website and the SMS and email messaging we send through our products.

Information we collect
When you contact us through this website
Our contact form collects your name, email address, and the message you write. We also record the IP address the submission came from, which we use solely to limit abuse of the form.
This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. We do not build profiles of visitors.
When you use our products
Our products collect the information needed to operate them — for example, a PatrolKit user's name, email address, mobile phone number, organizational role, and activity within the application. Product data is handled on behalf of the organization that administers the account.
Messaging
Where a product sends SMS or email notifications, we process the recipient's phone number or email address, their consent status, and delivery records for those messages.
How we use information
- To reply to messages you send us.
- To provide, operate, secure, and support our products.
- To send the notifications a user or their organization has opted in to receive.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in records are used only to deliver the messages a recipient has consented to receive, and are disclosed only to the communications providers that carry those messages on our behalf.

Service providers
We rely on a small number of vendors to run our systems — principally Amazon Web Services for hosting, email delivery, and SMS delivery. These providers process information only as needed to perform those services for us, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ovrEngineered, our users, or the public.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are retained in our email for as long as they remain useful for supporting you, and are deleted on request. Product data is retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, unless the administering organization asks us to delete it sooner. Abuse-prevention IP records are discarded within 30 days.
Your choices
- Stop SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
- Stop email notifications using the unsubscribe link in the message or the settings in your product account.
- Access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period, and within any timeframe required by applicable law.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and data in our systems is encrypted in transit and at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit access to personal information to those who need it to do their work.
Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy we will revise the date above. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be communicated to affected users.
